It would be really helpful to be able to add custom fields to leads/projects records to hold information that is not in the system out of the box. For example, maybe we need to specify a gate code for a project address so that we can make it to the property. It would be good to be able to add a field that we can use to put that information in. Different types of custom fields (date, checkbox, number, currency) would be a plus.
Companies, Contacts, Prime Contracts, and Subcontracts were added to the list of features that should support custom fields.
I agree, and add that a control or option to make a custom field as Required or Optional would be ideal. Also that ability to add these custom fields in Custom Detail Report Templates, Custom Log Reports, and Custom BI Summary Dashboards. Other Sage CRE products have these options and can offer an alias to the field so they are easy to find when creating Custom Reports.
