Right now, the only communication stored in correspondence modules is the final response of the respondent. There is usually a lot more back and forth there between the different parties involved. It would be nice to be able to have a "chat" style feature where questions/responses can be stored within the respective correspondence module. The final response can then be recorded when the item is marked as closed.
yes, this ruins the workflow and forces communication to happen outside of the CM platform. If the consultant has a questions about the RFI there isn't a place to allow them to ask except for responding to the RFI. Equally there isn't a place for the coordinator to provide additional context or respond to the respondants questions or comments. This is a feature that could be a dealbreaker for our team if not implemented quickly.
