Currently when you import equipment items they all come in as rented, you have to go into each item through the ui and change them to owned

This should be Already Exists just need help topic for Equipment import updated to reflect whats actually possible. Specifically mentioned in April 2026 release notes.
NOTE also if you export Equipment list all the importable fields are there its just they don't match the help topic.
Jack, I think this is an oversight on our part. I am going to add this to our tracking as a bug. I will create the JIRA tickets and submit this to engineering.
I am changing this idea status to unlikely, because the bug will follow a different path.
