To-Do List Reminder Emails

The To-Do List needs to have a notification system. If I have to-do's that are past due or coming due soon, there is no ALERT to tell me that. Adding a drop down in the To-Do creation that says "reminder" with a date would be a major improvement. Then that "reminder" is emailed to the person the To-Do is assigned to.
