If I attempt to download an individual picture that was uploaded through daily logs, I am unable to retrieve that download unless I select "download all." Please consider making it possible to download only one photo from daily logs.

If I understand what you are describing, I believe we have what you need.
1.) In photos, you have an option under Actions to Link from Other Features. If you select that option and then select Daily Log as the Feature Name, you can link existing pictures in the daily log to the Photos Feature.
2.) Nearly every entry form/screen, near the very bottom, has a section called Linked Files, and selecting Link Existing, and then All Other Records, you can choose where you want to link photos from other record types.
3.) You may want to check out Global Settings > Feature Settings > Photos, and the note the options in the pull down called 'Create Albums Option'. That may do what you want automatically.
