I have a big company, and most of my subs are big companies. However, each project only uses about 3 people from each company. So right now I have to go through all these people, just because they and their company are on other projects. The project directory needs an option to be a closed cell. Meaning if you can add the same company as other projects, but not their whole staff line up. As well as for my own company, I need to be able to only have my team of 5 out of the 50 people from my company.

I believe we offer this feature already. Can you try the following and let us know if this is what you were describing:
Open a Project that you need to add contacts to (Project Home view)
Go To Project Menu > Project Team > Project Directory
Go To Actions > Copy From another Project
Under 'Source Project', select a project you want to copy from
Unselect All Companies and Contacts
Reselect only the contacts you want to add to the previous Project Selected (See step 1).
