Being able to open, for example, a submittal package and having it open in a new tab by CTRL + clicking would be very useful for multitasking and organizational purposes. Currently after clicking on a submittal, you can only press the back button or click the submittal list button to go back, in which this way does not save the previous search or filters applied to the list. This feature is used in other applications to maintain the page that you are on with the criteria applied, as well as open the new page you want to open.
We already have this feature. I attached a screen shot to help you find this. The key is finding the Bread Crumb navigation, right click on the feature, and then select Open Link in New Tab, or Open Link in New Window
