Ability to rotate uploaded photos

We need to be able to easily rotate photos that are imported into Sage CM. When you click on the photo and open it, it appears to be upright but if you assign it to be the cover photo it is not upright. We have tried rotating them in windows before uploading them and they still import sideways. Very basic photo editing capabilities (rotation and crop) would be very much appreciated by our PMs and is standard in other construction management platforms.
