Include Checklist Templates in Lead/Project Wizard

We have elected to utilize "Checklists" to assist with internal workflow.

We have created a checklist template for leads and estimates which includes the steps of our internal workflow. In creating a Lead, we add the checklist template to the lead and set all of the corresponding "responsible contacts" and "due dates".

We then have alerts set up for checklists on each user's profile, so that when they log in to scm, their home page shows alerts for all of their internal workflows via checklists.

It it unclear whether or not this is the intended purpose of checklists; however, it works rather nicely.

That said, it would be nice if we didn't have to manually add the checklist to a lead every time. If we could elect to have a checklist template included in our lead/project setup wizard that would be ideal.
