Communication amongst team members is vital when it comes to managing a project/lead. Being able to house that in a centralized location in the lead/project would be really nice. Also, being able to tag one or more team members to the note so they can take a look and respond would be great too.
Utilizing the journal function is too cumbersome for quick notes/comments. I would prefer there be a "notes" box right up front when you open the lead. It could be under "quick links" or even "general info" tabs. Maybe like the following attached image and shorten the "description" box and place in the option for a "notes" box right next to it? Just a thought.
Would the Journals feature in the Correspondence module fill this need? If not, could you elaborate on where and how that would occur? Any ideas would help?
