Ability to have distinct permissions for each feature like add, edit, view/read only, delete, etc. (similar to Sage Intacct permissions) as we've had some clients already ask for this.
In That Role you Have applications. In SCM those would be things like Drawings, RFIs, Safety, Permits etc That is where you stop. Inside the applications We would like to define level of access.
So for instance. If you gave someone access:
Drawings, the subset of that would be add, delete, markup, view only
Permits- ADD, DELETE, VIEW

I hope this makes sense.

Hello David, no I mean expanding on the existing security roles to give each role distinct permissions for add, edit, view/read only, etc. like Intacct has on their roles (attached) - not on the user level.
Are you asking for similar controls at the individual user level, instead of assigning each user a generic Security User Role (Admin, Financial Admin, Project Manager, Estimator, etc.)? In other words, should ever option be available on every user? If the subscriber has a large number of users, setting up security at the user level would be very time consuming and difficult to manage or change for each user. How would you suggest we handle this?
yes this is very important as we have outside users that need to have specific permissions to certain tools. no one size fits all here.
Think Sage Intacct

This would be a great enhancement
