It would be beneficial to either be able to customize or pick from preselected options that are more descriptive. For example, pending is very vague and doesn't give enough detail as to what is pending. A contract admin should be able to produce a report to be used in meetings that helps everyone understand where the contract is in the workflow.

I think more account wide statuses would be beneficial and the addition of a notes section would add another layer of transparency of the process. For example, you place a contact in Pending Revisions status then note the date it was sent to the attorney or PM. Being able to then run a report on Subcontract status with notes included would be a valuable buyout tool.
The 2 places I would like to see it are for POs and Subcontracts. I do see that it could also work in other areas as well.
It would not be a required to utilize the workflow approval process.
Are you proposing more account wide defined status' available, or are you suggesting that there be a notes section associated with the status when set. Which record or transaction types would this be added to? Would this feature available in the workflow approval process? What if the Subscriber elects to not use the workflow approval process?
