I have a couple clients asking for this as the Cost Code/Owner Code name is not the best field to sync to the Contract Line Name in Intacct. Current workaround is to edit the line names in Intacct after sync which is not sustainable if the work is already being done is SCM.

Unfortunately, that is what I've tested out but because the SOV description does not push to Intacct on the Prime Contract/Project Contract and because Intacct pulls the project contract line name in the Invoice, it does not work. We would really need the Description to sync to Intacct instead of the cost code name as mentioned above. I'd be happy to show you all this as well, just let me know.

If you edit the SOV in the Prime Contract inside SCM to match the Clients need, and then post the Prime Contract to Intacct, does that resolve the problem? The SOV can be edited in the Prime Contract information page, under the section called Original Prime Contract Budgets, more specifically the "Contract Amount (aka Schedule of Values) in the attached screen shot. Once you open that option, you will see the edit button at the top right corner which opens to SOV details.
