When a submittal is created, the system should have the ability to sent out email notificatons automatically each day until the responded responds to the submittal.
If there isn't a notification sent, at absolute minimum, once the submittal is due, what's the point of even having a submittal log with due dates? The whole point of having a submittal tool in a CM software is so people know when they have something in their court! This feature really needs to be added with the option to send notifications at selected intervals (once a week, when due, daily once it is past due, etc)!
