Save Filtered Views

I have noticed that when you are on certain list view, you can select columns, filter and set the order of records presented, but if there is a view that you prefer, you have to make those selections each time. I would be great if you can save and name views and be able to set up one as a default (or present the last one used) and select alternate views. Similar to how Intacct works.
