Please allow for an option to import from excel under the "Change Order" Module. This would save us significant amount of time instead of manually adding each item. The import file could be identical to a Prime Contract Import from excel.
Is there a way to have this fully importable so that one can create many COs from Excel at the same time?
You already can import CO items from excel but like the Prime contract import you would need to setup the CO header information. The prime contract just happens to have a wizard that includes the import items step vs CO you create CO then do import separately.
What we have done with some clients is import an Estimate with variation items info then bring in estimate items to CO. That way you can bring in item associated to multiple variations in one go then setup the CO headers and bring in applicable items from that one estimate
