With the card view being the default view for the Project Lists, there is not an option to unarchive projects without switching to the list view, letting the project list populate again (which is slow if you have many archived projects), and then unchecking the Archive box.
Another option would be to allow users to set/save the list view as the default so the ability to unarchive projects is there the first time the project list loads.

What if we decided to save the last option selected by the user and that persists each login?
So if the last view they were using was the list view, that would be what they see on their next login.
