The Project Manager on the project should be automatically added to the project team.

The PM assigned to a project is not automatically part of the project team. That is odd. I created a project, made myself the PM, and when other employees wanted to copy me correspondence, they could not, because I wasn’t on the Project Team. The PM should always and automatically be on the project team.
